Exploring the world with a holistic heart

Winter Skincare Guide By: Briana Glover

It’s Winter!: A winter skincare guide on surviving the current season with these tips & products

Hi everyone! Fall is over and Winter is here so now we face a new problem with our skin. Well several new problems. So let me help you get through this season with my tips and recommended affordable products!

Before we get started I would like to introduce myself! My name is Briana and I am a beauty blogger for Beauty me Please! I blog about beauty, get personal, the lifestyle and self care- all with a SASSY cup of coffee! If you want to see more posts like this one come see me on my blog, See you there!

Now you know a little about me so let’s begin!

So once again our delicate skin shifts again and although for the most part it is for good reason, it still tends to make it tough to manage. But not impossible. One way to battle the elements is with cleansers. Anything that can give you hydration is a definite must have because your skin is becoming dry and needs more moisture to help keep you having a healthy glow and skin plump- not dull.

Product to try:

E.L.F. Hydrating Bubble Mask

Obviously, you hear or read this often or maybe not- but as i said before hydration is KEY. Especially for the women out there reading this with dry skin, it takes you less than 5 minutes to rub a moisturizing lotion  onto your face or body. Let’s not get ashy this year! And best part- you can carry these items in your purse so you are never without a solution!

Products to try:

Burts Bees Night Cream: Intense Hydration

Wonjin Effect Water Bomb Cream

Another, set of great items that you can add to your purse for easy travel are facial spray. Which honestly have great benefits and are just really good for when it comes to keeping your skin up-to-date and healthy. There are all kinds of sprays out there, even DIY sprays. So if you want something super easy to do check out these products:

Mario Badescu Facial Spray

Now while we are keeping the skin on our faces in check, we forget about our lips. They are very easily damaged and can be chapped within a matter of an hour. Just like your skin, you need to hydrate and exfoliate your lips to keep them soft and juicy-plump!

Products to try:

Pacifica Lip Balm

Lip Sugar Scrub by BLISS

And lastly this is for my makeup wearers and enthusiasts who just can’t stray away- I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. As a makeup artist, one thing that a lot of clients want is glowing and healthy skin. Almost glass like. A natural glow, just something that doesn’t make them look like their skin is dull or looking like they are tired. Because the harsh weather can do that to you. These last products I am linking below are 100% my personal favorite go to foundations anytime of the year but the coverage is so good and buildable and leaves your skin looking flawless.

 Products to try:

The Healthy Foundation

Light Illusion Foundation

Hydrating Face Primer

So this is my winter guide on how to take care of your skin!

I hope you enjoyed it and i would like to thank Nicole for having me & letting me share my tips with you guys and working with me! She is such a great person and I can’t wait to get to know her more!

Again if you want to see more of me you can check out my blog over at Beauty me Please!
